Alison is a qualified Dance Teacher, with a CERT ED in Teaching from City Lit. She teaches styles of Contemporary Dance (Limon Technique, and Graham technique), She also enjoys teaching Horton technique and has introduce this modern dance style into the FE environment. Also in combining styles she teaches Afro Contemporary dance styles, and presently teaches an open class at Dance works every Friday.
Alison enjoys developing movement vocabulary to dynamic rhythms.
I am presently developing my choreographic work, which relates to space and the relationship we as human beings create within that space. These ideas are often embodied in the emotional expression of the dancer, being depicted through a myriad of styles of Contemporary, Modern, and African dance to create an eclectic movement concept.
